Once you’ve found a new dental office that can help treat your entire family, the next step is to make your first appointment. Dr. Cappello and our team at Cappello Family Dental will do all they can to make your initial visit a success, but at the same time you can help ensure that everything goes smoothly by making sure you’re well-prepared ahead of time. Read over the page below to learn more about the logistics of your first appointment, and please call us anytime if you have questions.
First, you’ll need to check-in with our front-desk team and fill out your paperwork if you haven’t already. You’ll then be taken back to have X-rays and intraoral photographs taken before meeting with Dr. Cappello. He’ll ask if you have any specific concerns before moving ahead and performing an examination. After that, he’ll share his findings and make treatment recommendations. Once your teeth have been cleaned, we’ll discuss scheduling your next appointment before you return to the front desk to work out the financial details.
You can wait to fill out your dental forms until you get to our dental office, of course, but this can add about 20 minutes to your first appointment. If you want to keep things moving, we encourage you to save yourself – and us – a lot of time by downloading and printing out our forms using the link below! Once you’ve filled out the forms on your own time, all you need to do is bring them with you on the day of your visit.
Paying for dental care makes plenty of patients nervous, but it doesn’t have to be painful! Our insurance experts are here to answer all of your questions so that you fully understand what kind of benefits you’re entitled to and how much you need to pay out of your own pocket. We’ll take care of filing your claims so that you can save as much money as possible during each visit. We’re happy to accept plans from a wide variety of providers.
Some patients don’t have dental insurance, and others may find that their policies don’t fully cover the cost of their care. CareCredit can give you an little extra help in paying for your dental treatments by breaking the cost of care into a series of smaller installments. These plans come with little to no interest, and they can be customized to fit your situation. Click the link below to explore your options and apply for a payment plan.
If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account), then you are more than welcome to use it here at Cappello Family Dental! With your HSA, you can pay for a variety of general and specialty dental treatments, including cleanings, checkups, X-rays, fillings, crowns, dental implants, and more. And unlike with dental insurance, your HSA can even be used to cover cosmetic treatments like teeth whitening and veneers. For questions on how to use your HSA with us, contact our team today.
